Okay. So I probably shouldn’t have been messing around in Dad’s lab. I get that. Fine. Though really, the way I see it? That cannot be pinned on me. I mean seriously. Dad’s got, like, a million and a half awesome things in there that just beg for use. It’s a museum of Things That Want To Be Used But Haven’t. And how was I supposed to know that there was some door-making portal thing that would end up with me getting trapped in some… hotel? Seriously. How is that my fault?

Anyway. Covered all my bases. Comm-link with Carl? Out of service. Gadgets? Gone. And when I say gone, I really mean gone. Got absolutely no idea how that happened. So whoever took ‘em from me? I want ‘em back. They’re rightfully mine, and even more rightfully my dad’s. So-

…Oh wait. I didn’t bring them here. Okay, false alarm, scratch that.

It’s still a problem that I don’t have ‘em though. They’d probably really come in handy right about now. So if somebody could figure out what’s blocking out the radio signals in this place, that’d be great. Knowing Carl, he’s gonna be freaking himself out over this, will probably tell my parents, and then they’re all gonna kill me. And I can tell you this: it will not be done with mercy.



…Y’know what? On second thought, maybe staying here for a little while isn’t such a bad idea after all.
